Position Summary:
The Bioinformatics Scientist will take lab-generated data and create computational models that allow further manipulation and experimentation, perform incremental analysis required to process large amounts of data generated in a high-throughput Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) laboratory devoted to analysis of genomics data with focus on bulk and single-cell analysis.
The function of Bioinformatics Scientist requires both strong programming skills and quantitative/statistical analysis. The successful candidate will thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced working environment and contribute directly to our company culture and success.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Discovery Life Sciences is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices, and we strive to provide employees with total compensation packages that are market competitive. For this role, the anticipated base pay range is $90,000 - $130,000 annually. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidateβs offer letter. The exact base pay offered for this role will depend on various factors, including the candidate's qualifications, skills, and experience.
