Billing Manager (QuickBooks Specialist)

About Us: Akicita Federal LLC is a federal contracting company specializing in healthcare staffing for Indian Health Service facilities and tribal communities nationwide. Position Overview: We're seeking a Billing Manager with expert-level QuickBooks proficiency to manage our complete billing cycle, from invoice creation through payment collection and bank reconciliation. This role requires deep QuickBooks expertise while handling broader financial operations. \n \n $55,000 - $75,000 a year Key Responsibilities: Create and manage invoices for government contracts (IHS, VA FSS, etc.) Track and manage Accounts Receivable monthly Perform bank reconciliations and credit line reconciliations Coordinate invoice approval process and obtain required government signatures Manage end-to-end billing workflow for federal contracts Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks Generate financial reports and AR aging analysis Ensure compliance with government invoicing requirements (IPP, etc.) Required Qualifications: Expert-level QuickBooks proficiency (must demonstrate advanced knowledge) 3+ years billing/AR management experience Strong understanding of accounts receivable processes Experience with bank reconciliation and financial reporting Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Proficient in Microsoft Excel Strong written and verbal communication skills Preferred Qualifications: Experience with government contract billing Familiarity with IPP (Invoice Processing Platform) or similar government systems Experience in healthcare or staffing industry QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification \n Why This Role is Different: While QuickBooks mastery is essential, you'll be managing our complete billing operation - working with government agencies, coordinating payment processes, and ensuring financial accuracy across multiple contracts.
