Position Overview Provider Roles: Psychologist (PhD/PsyD) Psychiatrist (MD/DO) Behavioral Health Specialist / Therapist (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, LMSW) Work Type: Remote or Onsite, 1099 Contractor Location: California Format: Telemedicine + Onsite Locum Options Schedule: Flexible Compensation: Competitive hourly rates based on specialty Classification: 1099 Independent Contractor Responsibilities In these roles, you will provide comprehensive behavioral health services — including evaluations, counseling, medication management (for prescribing clinicians), and crisis support — via secure telehealth platforms. These positions offer excellent flexibility while allowing you to deliver high-quality care to diverse patient populations. Conduct virtual behavioral health assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and follow-up sessions. Provide psychotherapy, counseling, and evidence-based interventions appropriate to your licensure. Psychiatrists only: Perform medication management, prescribe, and oversee psychopharmacology treatment plans. Psychologists & Therapists: Deliver psychotherapy modalities including CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, and supportive counseling Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and progress. Collaborate with an integrated care team: physicians, PMHNPs, therapists, social workers, and a care coordinator.s Maintain accurate, timely documentation within 24 hours Stay current with best practices in behavioral health, psychotherapy, and mental health treatment.
