THE POSITION:
We’re looking for a Backend Java Microservices Developer. The pay range we’re offering is $75k to $120k per year. We offer a generous compensation plan based on industry standards and your experience.

Requirements
:
Work authorization (required).
Must be based in USA.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science (or equivalent experience).
At least 3-5+ years of experience building large-scale software applications.
Experience in solving technical issues with thorough research and investigation.
Hands-on experience with Java technologies.
Work closely with the software architects to create high-level applications.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven fluency in English.
Willing to work during days/nights/weekends and be on-call depending on project demands.
Knowledge of RESTful API services.
Experience in supporting and/or implementing complex integration projects.
Knowledge of MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Apache Kafka, and Kubernetes.
In-depth knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
Knowledge of Unit/E2E testing automation.
Familiarity with web servers.
Expert proficiency and hands-on experience on Core Java, Java Microservices, and Spring Boot.
Expert proficiency in designing both producer and consumer types of Rest services.
Expert proficiency in Unit testing and Code Quality tools.
Expert proficiency in ensuring code coverage.
Expert proficiency in understanding High-Level Design and translating that to Low-Level Design.
Familiarity with development tooling such as Eclipse, Jenkins, GitLab, Gradle, GIT, JUnit, Selenium, JIRA.
Direct Experience with Open Container Initiative (OCI) Compliance.
Spring Framework (Spring Boot, WebFlux, WebMvc, Spring Security).
Experience in Java/J2EE technologies in developing J2EE based web application.
Backend technologies - Java 8, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices, NodeJS.
UI technologies – CSS, HTML, Vue.JS, jQuery/Typescript.
Database – Oracle.
Knowledge of CICD with Jenkins and Docker.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to understand the business processes, maintenance, production support and release management.
Excellent client interfacing skills.
Ability to work in a collaborative multi-application team environment.
Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment.
Experience with containerization and deployment tools such as Kubernetes, Istio, Podman or similar applications.
Experience with automated security scanning tools such as OpenSCAP, SonarCube or similar applications.
Experience with database integration and technologies such as SQL.
Messaging Middleware and event-driven data architectures (Kafka, JMS).
Object-Oriented Design, Model-based engineering.
Object/Relational Mapping Framework (Hibernate) and SQL.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
Experience working closely with engineers and software cultures.
Independent work style and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
Daily duties and time must be tracked via ZLTS app.
Responsibilities
: As a Backend Java Microservices Developer, you are required to build software systems that have well-defined interfaces. The selected candidate will have to write modular and reusable code. The candidate will be responsible for giving quality results to big enterprise projects.
Design and develop Microservices systems.
Communicate with the tech lead, to understand the technology thoroughly.
Perform unit and system testing.
Understand business requirements and create plans accordingly.
Perform threat and risk assessments.
Develop full-stack Java based web applications.
Work in an Agile DevSecOps team environment.
Utilize CI/CD pipelines.
Work with microservice architecture.
Participate in architecture and design discussions, providing input and helping the team arrive at the right design for new projects and features.
Responsible for writing well-tested code, primarily using Java.
Regular collaborate with stakeholders including product managers, UX designers and front-end developers and architects.
Deliver fully tested code to our continuous delivery pipeline.
Contribute code and ideas to improve developer workflow and team performance.
