Job Description This is a remote position. If you have strong external audit experience and want to build real depth working with Australian clients from the Philippines — this role is for you. We are placing an Audit & Assurance Assistant for a respected Australian professional services firm. Working fully remote on Australian business hours, you will perform financial statement audit procedures, prepare working papers, and contribute to audit engagements across a diverse Australian client base. This is a structured, quality-focused environment where your work matters and your development is supported. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING Perform audit procedures and tasks assigned by the Auditor in Charge on financial statement audit engagements Prepare clear, accurate, and well-structured working papers documenting procedures, sources, and conclusions Apply professional judgement and professional scepticism in all work performed Identify and communicate issues, variances, risks, or findings to the Auditor in Charge in a timely manner Deliver assigned tasks on time and on budget, following established quality standards Monitor and maintain accurate time records, flagging potential budget variances proactively Assist with process improvement initiatives and contribute to digital audit workflow solutions Provide guidance to less experienced audit assistants when required Requirements WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR Must Have At least 2 years of recent experience in external financial statement audit Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a closely related field Solid understanding of audit procedures, documentation, and working paper preparation Proficiency in Microsoft Office — Excel, Word, PowerPoint Strong written and verbal English communication skills Able to work independently and as part of a remote audit team Proven ability to meet deadlines and consistently deliver high-quality work Preferred Experience working with Australian audit clients — strongly preferred and will be prioritised Exposure to Australian or International Accounting Standards (AASB / IFRS) Familiarity with Australian or International Auditing Standards Understanding of Australian Standards on Assurance Engagements (ASAE) or ISAE CPA or CA qualification — completed or in progress Experience with audit working paper systems (any platform) Understanding of systems of internal control and corporate governance Benefits ₱50,000 – 60,000 per month 13th month pay HMO coverage 15 annual leave + 5 sick leave + 20 PTO credits upon regularisation Comprehensive Training 100% work from home Full-time, permanent position with an established Australian company Staff Events Monday to Friday If you have genuine external audit experience and want to build your career working with Australian clients — apply now.
