Its hosted platforms operate at the intersection of technology, public finance, and highly regulated government environments. Grant Street Group is hiring an Associate General Counsel to serve as the primary partner to the General Counsel and help shape the company’s evolving legal function. This role spans commercial contracting, privacy and AI governance, regulatory compliance, employment, governance, disputes, and strategic transactions—offering unusual breadth for a mid-level in-house attorney. You will lead negotiation of SaaS subscription agreements, professional services contracts, data protection addenda, and government-facing technology agreements. You’ll advise on privacy, data security, and risk allocation; refine contract templates and playbooks; support legal operations and AI-enabled contract workflows; and partner closely with Sales, Product, HR, and Finance to balance legal risk with business objectives. The ideal candidate brings 4–7 years of experience, strong technology contracting expertise, and comfort operating autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
