Accountabilities: In this role, you will serve as a key legal partner supporting commercial growth, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance across the organization. You will draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements while advising internal stakeholders on risk and structuring considerations. Partner with commercial and leadership teams to draft, review, and negotiate customer, partnership, and vendor agreements Advise on payments regulation, card network rules, and state/federal compliance requirements related to fintech and surcharging models Support the development and maintenance of internal compliance policies, frameworks, and risk management processes Provide guidance on privacy, data security, employment-related matters, and other general corporate legal issues Collaborate with external counsel where needed and ensure efficient, cost-effective legal support Translate complex regulatory requirements into clear, actionable business guidance for non-legal stakeholders Requirements: This role requires a seasoned attorney with strong commercial contracting expertise and deep exposure to financial services or fintech regulatory environments. The ideal candidate is a hands-on legal generalist who can operate independently in a fast-moving, remote-first organization.
