Responsibilities Tooling & Integration Development: Write clean, maintainable code to develop and maintain robust APIs, internal web hooks, and script libraries (typically using Python, JavaScript, or Node.js) to connect disparate business platforms and CRMs. Process Automation Engineering: Identify high-friction, manual workflows across corporate departments and engineer automated scripts to eliminate human error and optimize team execution times. Data Synthesis & Querying: Partner with analytics teams to gather operational data layers, write and optimize database queries (SQL), and help construct clean data pipelines for internal business intelligence metrics. Technical Discovery Assistance: Interface with non-technical team members to gather technical requirements, transforming operational challenges into clear, scannable technical blueprints. Platform Quality Control: Write unit tests and participate in active peer code reviews via Git to ensure the reliability, security, and cleanliness of internal systems software. Requirements Education & Domain Literacy: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Engineering, or an equivalent quantitative technical discipline. Professional/Academic Experience: 0 to 2 years of experience (inclusive of robust full-stack software internships, university lab projects, technical consulting capstones, or extensive personal open-source coding repositories). Programming Foundations: Strong, foundational command of at least one modern language—specifically Python or JavaScript/TypeScript—paired with a solid grasp of data structures and algorithms. Database & API Basics: Practical exposure to writing, reading, and troubleshooting relational database queries (SQL) and interacting with standard RESTful APIs. Proactive Remote Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Because we are a remote team, you must be a proactive documenter who can translate technical constraints into clear business terms. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience with cloud computing concepts (AWS, GCP, or Azure) or containerization tools (Docker). Familiarity with Agile methodologies, version control workflows (Git/GitHub), and issue tracking software (Jira or Notion). Basic exposure to configuring or connecting enterprise software applications (such as Salesforce or HubSpot developer tools).
