Job Description:

Must-Have Skills & Qualifications

• 15+ years (ideally 15–20 years) of professional experience specifically in end-to-end contract drafting and management within large-scale capital construction or infrastructure programs
• Contract Delivery Direct experience with Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) contract delivery methods
• Construction Type New build construction project experience (services contract experience is not sufficient)
• Industry Knowledge Data center, mission-critical facility, or large-scale infrastructure construction programs
• Sector Private sector experience preferred
• Employment Stability Stable employment history demonstrating commitment (frequent job changes are a disqualifier)
• Education Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Supply Chain Management, Legal Studies (J.D.), Business Administration, English, Engineering, Construction Administration, or equivalent
• Technology Proficiency in all Google applications (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Tasks) and Adobe Sign (or similar electronic signing tool)
• Software Experience with contract management software
• Commercial Skills End-to-end contract drafting, negotiation, execution, and administration
• Change Management Experience managing change orders, claims, and commercial entitlement assessments
• Risk Management Ability to identify, assess, and escalate commercial and contractual risks

Nice-to-Have Skills & Qualifications

Legal/Claims Legal or claims experience is beneficial, but a business law degree is NOT required (confirmed as "nice-to-have" only)

• Program Development Experience leading or supporting the development of owner-side contract management programs, including process design and team capability building
• Dispute Resolution Experience negotiating complex construction claims or dispute resolution processes Ai/Digital Tools Demonstrated ability to integrate AI or digital tools to improve contract administration workflows, reporting accuracy, or
• commercial risk identification
• Phased Delivery Experience with complex commissioning and phased delivery requirements
• Procurement/Sourcing Procurement and sourcing experience may be valuable but is not directly relevant to the contract manager position
• Graduate Degree Graduate degree in a relevant field (Supply Chain, Legal Studies, Business Administration, etc.)
