AI Systems & Operations Lead Remote (Philippines) · PHP 100,000–170,000/month · Full-time · Mon–Fri, 9am–5pm AEST About the Company An Australian offshore operations business intentionally evolving into a human + AI operations company. The internal team is actively redesigning how work flows through the business, exploring where AI-native systems, agentic workflows, and orchestrated execution create real operational advantage. The culture values practical builders over theorists, experimentation over perfection, and output over activity. The Opportunity You'll join the core internal team as the lead for AI systems, workflow architecture, and operational R&D, working directly with the CEO. This role is part implementation and part exploration: building what works today while identifying and prototyping the operational models that will define how the business runs tomorrow. There is no complete playbook. You'll need to self-direct, experiment, and make calls with incomplete information. Key Responsibilities Design and build AI-enabled workflow systems across recruitment, onboarding, delivery, and client operations using Claude, OpenAI APIs, and orchestration tooling Experiment with agentic workflows, multi-step AI pipelines, and emerging AI capabilities to identify where intelligently orchestrated human + AI execution creates genuine operational advantage Continuously audit existing processes, challenge what is inefficient, and prototype better human + AI execution models before committing to full builds Build and maintain automations in Zapier, Make, or n8n connecting AI systems to live operations, with human-in-the-loop review at critical steps Build documentation and operating standards for every system to a level non-technical operators can follow and maintain independently Design and deliver practical AI training for internal staff covering safe use, verification, and workflow-specific application Must-Have Qualifications Before you apply, confirm: [ ] Built AI-assisted workflows using Claude, ChatGPT, or the OpenAI API in a live business environment [ ] Designed and maintained automations in Zapier, Make, or n8n at a production level [ ] Can integrate APIs and webhooks and troubleshoot failures without hand-holding [ ] Genuinely curious about AI, proactive about testing ideas, and comfortable operating with ambiguity [ ] Can document complex systems clearly enough for non-technical operators to run without you in the room [ ] Available full-time, Mon–Fri, AEST hours, with a reliable home office and internet setup Nice-to-Have Skills Experience with agentic frameworks, AI orchestration tooling, or multi-step AI pipelines Familiarity with GoHighLevel, ClickUp automation, or Google Apps Script Basic scripting ability in Python or JavaScript Success Outcomes 30 Days: Workflows, tools, and automations audited. Bottlenecks mapped. First-pass AI/automation roadmap and an initial list of highest-leverage prototyping priorities delivered to the CEO. 60 Days: Three to five AI-enabled workflows live. First round of experimental builds attempted, evaluated, and documented. Team AI guardrails in place. 90 Days: Core AI infrastructure stable and in active use. CEO dependency on manual, repeatable tasks measurably reduced. A continuous experimentation and improvement cycle established.
