About the Role

We're hiring a hands-on AI Platform Engineer to support the pilot deployment of our customer's product— an AI-powered CRM built for companies.

This is a backend-focused role centered on AI orchestration, API integrations, data pipelines, and operational support during live customer pilots. You'll work directly under our Senior AI Engineer to keep the platform running reliably in real customer environments.

What You'll Do

• Support day-to-day technical operations during customer pilots
• Troubleshoot bugs, workflow issues, and API integration problems
• Assist with backend AI orchestration and LLM workflows
• Work on API response handling, data pipelines, tool calling, workflow routing, and prompt integration
• Help integrate and maintain ERP APIs (e.g., Aspire)
• Participate in rapid build-test-improve development cycles
• Collaborate closely with the Senior AI Engineer

Required Skills

• Strong TypeScript / JavaScript skills
• Experience with REST APIs and JSON data handling
• Solid backend development and debugging fundamentals
• Hands-on experience with AI APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI, etc.)
• Able to read technical documentation independently
• Basic understanding of databases and data pipelines

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with AI agent frameworks, PostgreSQL / Supabase
• Experience with cloud deployment platforms
• Familiarity with ERP integrations

Role Details

• Type: Contract - this is a contractor role, therefore the you must be able to invoice for your services.
• Commitment: Approximately 4 hours/day (~20 hours/week)
• Duration: Initial pilot phase (2 months)
• Location: Fully remote — your working hours must overlap with US time zones
