Organization: Alignerr Type: Hourly Contract Location: Remote Commitment: 10–40 hours/week What You'll Do Analyze AI and LLM security scenarios to understand how models behave under adversarial or unexpected conditions Investigate prompt injection attacks, data leakage risks, model abuse vectors, and system misuse cases Classify security vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate mitigations based on real-world impact and likelihood Apply threat modeling frameworks to emerging AI technologies and deployment environments Evaluate and improve AI system behavior so it remains aligned with security best practices Work independently on task-based assignments at your own pace and schedule Who You Are Background in cybersecurity, information security, or a closely related technical field Solid understanding of modern security threat modeling and how it applies to AI and LLM systems Familiar with adversarial attack surfaces — prompt injection, jailbreaking, data leakage, API abuse, and beyond Analytical and precise — you dig into complex systems and don't stop until you understand how they break Naturally curious about how AI models are built, deployed, and exploited Self-motivated and reliable when working independently without hand-holding Nice to Have Hands-on experience with red teaming, penetration testing, or vulnerability research Familiarity with large language models (LLMs), generative AI, or machine learning systems Background in application security, API security, or cloud security Experience evaluating AI safety, alignment, or responsible AI practices Prior work in AI governance, risk assessment, or compliance frameworks Why Join Us Work directly on frontier AI systems alongside leading research labs Fully remote and asynchronous — work when and where it suits you Freelance autonomy with the structure of meaningful, impactful work Contribute to AI safety at a critical moment in the technology's development Potential for ongoing work and contract extension as new projects launch
