Learn more: www.iema.org.uk Position Overview IEMA seeks a distinguished professional to serve as an Advisory Board Member (Global Impact PPP). This senior, voluntary position involves providing strategic guidance on public-private partnerships for impact in education, including outcomes-based financing, blended finance, and cross-sector collaboration across multiple regions. The successful candidate will join a diverse, international board that influences policy development, governance, and large-scale programme delivery, contributing to IEMA’s mission of shaping the future of education . Key Responsibilities Provide expert advice on PPP strategy, governance, and contracting for impact, including risk allocation, procurement pathways, and outcomes frameworks. Support the development of global PPP policies and strategic initiatives that enable scalable, equitable education programmes. Guide partnerships with governments, multilateral agencies, philanthropic funds, universities, and private-sector partners. Participate in quarterly remote advisory meetings (approx. 1-2 hours per month). Serve as a thought leader and ambassador for IEMA’s mission. Candidate Requirements 10+ years of senior-level experience in development finance, public policy, education leadership, or social impact investment. 5+ years of demonstrable expertise in PPP design, outcomes-based contracts, or blended finance structures. Deep understanding of international PPP frameworks, regulatory environments, and cross-border governance. Exceptional strategic insight, communication skills, and a collaborative mindset. Demonstrated commitment to educational equity, inclusion, and innovation. Eligibility Criteria Applicants may reside anywhere globally and must be legally authorized to volunteer in their country of residence. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
