Role Description

American Denturist College (ADC) is seeking a part-time Adjunct Faculty member to teach courses in the Health Sciences and Dental Prosthetics areas. Courses include Psychology, Sociology, and Gerontology The Adjunct Faculty will support the overall mission of ADC to provide an outstanding education, equipping students with the technical skills needed for immediate success. This is a contract and fully remote role for an Adjunct Faculty Instructor. The responsibilities include developing and delivering course materials, educating students through online formats, providing mentorship and guidance, and assessing student progress. Instructors will work closely with the curriculum team to ensure alignment with industry standards and support a high-quality educational experience.

Key Responsibilities

The Adjunct Faculty members should motivate students to actively engage in all aspects of their educational journey and focus on their commitment to student success. The Adjunct Faculty:

• Interacts with students synchronously and asynchronously via discussion, chat, virtual office hours, live engagements, emails.
• Teaches and facilitates the course(s), as designed, in an efficient and engaging manner.
• Actively responds to student emails and messages within 24 hours.
• Mentor students on course content and skill development that expands the student experience with insights, unique personal experiences, professional applications, and other practical/conceptual knowledge and expertise.
• Posts updates and announcements to course(s) regularly to support student learning.
• Provides feedback and recommendations on course content to ensure high quality and relevant delivery of information.
• Remains current in his/her academic program or discipline, attending conferences and maintaining any licensure or continuing education requirements.
• Participates in departmental and university affairs as requested
