Accounting Manager- US - Remote

The Opportunity

As a Senior Accounting Manager, you will lead end-to-end accounting operations for US-based clients while managing and mentoring a team of accountants.

You will operate at the intersection of accounting, leadership, and process transformation - driving accuracy, efficiency, and scalability across finance operations.

This role offers direct exposure to US Controllers, CFOs, and founders, positioning you as a strategic partner in financial reporting, operational excellence, and decision-making.

What You’ll Do (Impact + Leadership)

• Lead end-to-end accounting operations (Record-to-Report) for multiple US-based clients
• Manage and mentor accounting team members, ensuring high-quality deliverables and team development
• Drive month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close cycles with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and scalability
• Review and finalize financial statements in compliance with US GAAP
• Oversee reconciliations, variance analysis, and issue resolution
• Act as a key point of contact for US clients and build strong stakeholder relationships
• Partner directly with Controllers and CFOs to support reporting, insights, and business decision-making
• Drive process improvements, standardization, and automation initiatives across accounting workflows
• Ensure audit readiness and support coordination with external auditors
• Build and strengthen scalable accounting processes for high-growth business environments

What We’re Looking For

• 6+ years of experience in end-to-end accounting with strong US GAAP expertise
• Prior experience in team management or mentoring
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, close cycles, and internal controls
• Experience working with ERP systems (NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, etc.)
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth, startup environment
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills (US clients exposure preferred)
• CA / CPA (or equivalent) is strongly preferred
