Account Manager Central Bristol (hybrid) 🚀 The Giant Minds of Software We're a bespoke software development house with brilliant talent, proudly based in central Bristol. Working across different sectors and with the latest technology, we deliver exceptional software engineering through high-quality bespoke projects, helping technically ambitious companies meet their business goals. 📍 Central Bristol, hybrid | 💰 £45,000-50,000 + 8% non-contributory pension + team sales bonus | Sales Team As part of the team: Our sales team owns the relationships that keep Ghyston growing. The accounts we manage range from recently landed clients to partnerships we've built over many years, and there's real potential in all of them. As Account Manager, you'll take ownership of a slice of that portfolio and grow it, working closely with our Sales Director, CTO and delivery teams. Not by keeping things ticking over, but by treating every account as a place with more potential than we've tapped so far, getting in front of new teams and decision-makers across those organisations rather than just managing the contacts already there. If that sounds like your kind of challenge, we'd love to hear from you. Your day-to-day: Owning a portfolio of existing client accounts and building quarterly plans to grow them Looking at the clients we already work with and asking who else you should be speaking to, then proactively getting in front of new teams and decision-makers across those organisations Spotting, qualifying and progressing new opportunities within your accounts Running clear, purposeful client meetings to share ideas, understand priorities and uncover where we can do more Taking opportunities through the sales process alongside our Sales Director, CTO and delivery teams, and contributing to proposals, solution design and pitches Keeping your pipeline and account data in our CRM HubSpot, and using modern tools, including AI, to work at pace and to a high standard How we work: We're an in-person Bristol team at heart, and a lot of the good stuff happens in the office. But once you're settled, you can work from home around two days a week. We trust that people to do their best work in the way that suits them. You'll have an established sales structure and real support around you, but plenty of room to run with your own accounts and ideas. Why us: We put real emphasis on employee happiness, and we're proud to have been recognised by Best Companies two years running, including as a top five small company to work for in the UK. We're carbon neutral, committed to reducing our impact on the planet, and we work with local partners to help reduce inequalities in our community. We're not perfect, but we work hard to be excellent at what we do, and we want people who'll drive that excellence with us. You should apply if: You have strong experience in B2B sales, business development, presales or account management, ideally in tech, consultancy or digital You've grown existing accounts before, and you're proactive about opening up new relationships within them rather than waiting for them to come to you You've sold into or managed large and mid-market organisations, and the scale of who you've worked with matters more to us than the specific product you sold You're commercially sharp and equally comfortable picking up the phone or presenting to senior stakeholders You've used a CRM (HubSpot ideally), and you're genuinely interested in using AI to work smarter You like the idea of working somewhere that cares about craft and doing things properly, not just hitting a number What's in it for you: 💰 Competitive salary, a 9% non-contributory pension, and a team bonus linked to sales performance ⏰ A flexible approach to hybrid working and hours 🏖️ Complimentry holiday (on top of your standard allowance) which is organised throughout the year 🛡️ Group income protection, life assurance, and wellbeing support 👶 Enhanced maternity, paternity and adoption leave ⚡ Electric vehicle scheme through Octopus Electric Dreams, plus cycle to work and discounted bus fares 📚 A genuine investment in your growth and development 🛋️ A relaxed central Bristol office with a stocked drinks fridge, snacks and a pool table Everybody is welcome to apply. We're committed to building a team where everyone can thrive, whatever your background, united by one thing: building software better and faster. If you've got the drive and the commercial instinct for this role, we'd love to hear from you. Even if you don't tick every box, tell us why you'd be a great fit.
