Role Overview We are looking for a high-performing Account Executive (AE) to join our growing sales team and help scale our partnerships with top eCommerce brands! The Account Executive (AE) at Social Commerce Club is responsible for converting qualified opportunities into long-term client partnerships. This role is heavily focused on building compelling growth presentations, pitching strategic opportunities to brands, and confidently closing high-value retainers. You will work directly with brand leaders and marketing executives to help them understand how creator-driven commerce and TikTok Shop can unlock significant new revenue channels for their business. The AE will work closely with SCC’s strategy, creator, and growth teams to craft tailored proposals that align with each brand’s goals while ensuring a strong close rate and predictable pipeline growth.This is a high-impact revenue-generating role with significant earning potential for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-performance sales environment. Key Responsibilities Sales Presentations & Pitch Development Build custom sales presentations and growth projections for prospective brands Translate TikTok Shop opportunities, creator strategies, and performance marketing into clear business outcomes Prepare and present strategic growth plans that align with each brand’s revenue goals Work closely with internal strategy teams to develop compelling pitch materials Continuously refine presentation frameworks based on winning deals Pitching Prospects Lead high-impact pitch calls and strategic consultations with brand decision-makers Clearly communicate SCC’s creator-driven growth model and unified commerce strategy Position SCC as a strategic growth partner rather than a vendor Confidently present financial projections, growth scenarios, and performance opportunities Closing New Business Guide prospects through the full sales cycle from discovery to signed agreement Handle objections and address concerns around investment, ROI, and operational execution Negotiate retainers and partnership terms Consistently convert qualified opportunities into long-term client relationships Manage Sales Pipeline Maintain an organized and accurate pipeline within HubSpot Track deal stages, follow-ups, and forecasting Maintain strong deal velocity through consistent follow-up and relationship management Collaborate with SDRs and marketing to convert inbound and outbound opportunities Strategic Sales Consulting Diagnose brand growth challenges and identify how SCC can drive revenue Educate brands on TikTok Shop, creator commerce, and social-driven demand generation Help brands understand how TikTok Shop can integrate with their broader eCommerce growth strategy Provide strategic insights during the sales process that build trust and authority Cross-Team Collaboration Work closely with strategy, creator partnerships, and operations teams Ensure clear expectations and smooth handoff during client onboarding Align internal teams on deal structure, deliverables, and growth projections Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is both a strategic thinker and a closer — someone who understands modern eCommerce growth and can translate that knowledge into compelling sales conversations and presentations. Experience 3–7 years experience in B2B sales, agency sales, or performance marketing sales Experience selling marketing services, performance marketing, or SaaS Proven experience building and delivering high-impact sales presentations Demonstrated ability to pitch and close mid-market or enterprise deals Experience working with eCommerce or DTC brands Highly Valuable Background A strong understanding of eCommerce marketing is a major asset, including experience or knowledge in areas such as: Performance marketing (Meta, Google, TikTok ads) Creator and influencer marketing Direct-to-consumer growth strategies Conversion rate optimization Email and lifecycle marketing Social commerce and TikTok Shop Skills Strong discovery and consultative sales ability Excellent communication and storytelling skills Ability to translate marketing strategy into business outcomes Confidence presenting to CMOs, founders, and marketing leaders Strong objection handling and negotiation skills Comfortable selling high-ticket retainers and performance-based engagements Ability to thrive in a high-performance, metrics-driven environment What Success Looks Like Within the first 90 days you will: Learn SCC’s TikTok Shop growth model and creator ecosystem Run discovery calls and pitch qualified prospects Build and deliver strategic sales presentations Close your first deals with support from leadership Long-term success in this role means: Consistently closing high-value retainers Building trusted relationships with brand leaders Becoming a strategic advisor to brands entering social commerce Compensation OTE: $120k - $200k CAD / year Commission on closed deals Performance-based bonuses Significant upside for top performers Top performers in this role have the potential to earn six figures+ annually.
