Account Executive - Ireland - Remote We are looking for an Account Executive with 2–5 years of full-cycle SaaS sales experience (4–7 years total, including SDR/BDR) to join a rapidly growing go-to-market team. Own the full sales cycle — from prospecting and outbound outreach (60–70% of the role) to close — across academic institutions and industry companies Hunt and develop new business in an assigned territory, with a heavy emphasis on net-new logo acquisition Manage and prioritise the pipeline in CRM, tracking lead conversion and performance against quota Collaborate closely with BDR, Customer Success, and Marketing teams (every AE gets a dedicated BDR) Become a product expert and communicate its value to a range of stakeholders, from scientists to executives Key Requirements 2–5 years of full-cycle closing experience in SaaS (SDR/BDR time does not count toward this) Proven startup/early-stage SaaS experience — candidates from large enterprise brands only (e.g. Salesforce, LinkedIn) are not the target profile True hunter mentality — this is a new business role, not account management Track record of hitting or exceeding quota with experience managing multi-stakeholder deals No scientific background required, but experience selling technical or complex SaaS products is a strong plus
